We begin a series of publications devoted to the Championship in Moscow 2016. Moscow Cup – an annual tournament, which has a long tradition and enjoys the reputation of the strongest regional tournament in the country. The competition is held in the fall at the weekend usually in November and December. This year the structure was somewhat less than usual for the first time the tournament has not held even before the qualification status, since it involves only 7 people (it was 8 in the past two years participants). Could not this year take part Oleg Fedorkin (2nd place in the championship of Moscow in 2013), as well as tournament regulars Igor Magdeev and Vladimir Sinitsyn.

In total, the championship has been played 21 parties (+ can still play-offs between adjacent sites), which will be published and disassembled on our website with the comments of experienced players. Debut regulation soosryv-8, the time control 90min + 30sec.
