On October 10, The Macau Renju Association was officially registered in Macau Autonomous Territory (China) after many months of legal red tape.

On October 14, the association launched a Facebook page. Renju has been played in Macau since 2000, but the official association has only just been registered. According to reports, there are currently 46 members of the association.
