From May 1 to 3, the European Youth Championship was held in Istanbul.
The competition was held by Renju International Federation (Renju International Federation – RIF) and Renju Federation of Turkey.
Competitions were held in 6 groups:
Group A: Juniors, born 1992-1997
Group B: Boys, born 1998–202
Group C: Boys, born in 2003 and younger
Group D: Junior women, born 1992-1997
Group E: Girls, born in 1998-202
Group F: Girls, born in 2003 and younger
System of conducting:
Debut time limit: Taraguchi-10.
Time control: 60 minutes per batch + 30 sec. Fisher on the course.
Criteria for determining places:
In the case of an equal number of points, the following criteria are used:
Buchholz coefficient.
Berger coefficient.
The result of a personal meeting.
The number of victories.
In case of equality of additional criteria for athletes occupying the first three places, a number of additional games are appointed by the jury.
