Yesterday, December 7, the last games of the Moscow Championship were played. The winner was Konstantin Nikonov, he also won in the championship of Moscow last year. The second place was taken by Karen Sirateghyan, the third – by Viktor Golosov.

Moscow Championship is held on weekends for several months, from October to December. In total, 14 people are expected to participate in it, however, a smaller number of participants usually play: 9 in the past and the year before, this year – 7. The championship is played in a round-robin system in 1 lap with time control 90 minutes + 30 seconds for the phisher; various debut regulations. Two years ago, a system with refusals of Yasmyrv-5 was used, last year – taraguchi-7, and this year, rammers.

Moscow Championship is considered the strongest in composition among the regional championships. For example, last year four players took part in it with the rank of 7 dan.
