A new gamoku gaming club appeared in Moscow, the first meeting took place last Sunday, April 12th.
6 people came, among whom were both famous players and new faces wishing to learn how to play Gomoku. Such a very small turnout is probably associated with the holidays that fell on this day – Easter and cosmonautics day.
The meetings will take place in the Yesenin Library No. 173, in the same place where the second qualifying tournament of the Gomoki Championship of Russia took place last month ago, in early March. In addition to Gomoku, there is also a children’s chess section, the participants of which reacted with great interest to a new sport and logic game for them. In addition to chess, there are other various children’s sections in the building.

Despite the scarcity of those who came on the first day of the club’s life, it can be said with confidence that this is a very good undertaking, especially if you manage to get children interested and involved in the game. A visit to the club will be useful for both beginners and game lovers of all ages, because the experience of full-time play, as well as communication with high-class players is almost priceless and can seriously enhance your game, and having a place where all this is possible is a valuable find.
According to preliminary information, players will meet on Sundays every two weeks, the next time – April 26 from 12 o’clock. The club is located at: Moscow, metro Profsoyuznaya, ul. Krzhizhanovskogo, d.15, k.5.
