Today we are presenting a new section on the “Puzzle Games” website.

In this section, it is planned to talk about logic games that are somewhat similar to Renju and Gomoku. These can be well-known and popular games. Or it may be undeservedly forgotten, but no less interesting.

For example, a publication on the game Connect6 has already been prepared. The rules of this game are very similar to the rules of gomoku. There are only 2 differences. But these 2 differences completely modify the game. For example, there is no need to use the opening regulations to equalize the chances for White and black to win.

In the section materials it is supposed not only to give the rules of such games, but to analyze their tactics, honesty (equality of chances of winning for black and white), complexity (the number of possible variants of the game), reveal the similarity and differences of these games. In short, we want to reveal the highlight of each game. And all this will necessarily be covered in view of the historical context.
