Says world champion Renju Pen 2007 Dmitry Epifanov
Once I thought that there is only one championship in Renju and only one champion. When I participated in the TWC-2002 I realized that there are quite a lot of titles in Renju. There are about 2 (private) + 4 … 5 (Youth) 2 (by correspondence) + 4 … 5 (command) = 12 to 14 titles!
Here is the complete list of world champions. Abbreviations: “h” means that it is a personal world championship, “F” means that it is a female world championship, “M” means that this is a world championship among youth, “P” means that it is the championship of the world by correspondence.

There is quite a lot of amazing facts. For example, the greatest number of 1st place (8 !!) gathered Yulia Savrasov, the second – Kostya Chingin (5), but both of them have never won the individual championship. And the third – Ando, who collected four trophies in personal championships!
