From the first to the sixth of November 2015 in Kolontaevo passed the qualifying tournament for the Championship of Russia (CR). The Russian Championship itself will be held at the end of February 2016. The players of the first nine places will enter the Russian Championship (see table below – the first 9 lines are held in the Czech Republic). The unofficial name of the tournament is the first league of the Russian championship, 24 in a row. It was attended by the smallest number of people in recent years, only 24. The most interesting event at the tournament was the participation of Alexei Potapov, who recently moved from Komsomolsk to Amur to St. Petersburg and his legitimate victory in the tournament. Yuri Tarannikov, unfortunately, could not pass in the Czech Republic, as he missed the first two rounds. Of the surprises, Vladimir Filinov did not pass in the Chechen Republic, but Mikhail Mikryukov (who hadn’t passed the Russian Premier League) and Roman Berezin, who took part in the Russian Championship only twice, in 2005 and 2012, passed.
